The attack; Video clip from security camera

Monday, January 16, 2023, 10:44 Two Arabs attacked a married yeshiva student vacationing with his family in Jerusalem and knocked him to the ground approximately two weeks ago. Honenu Attorney Chayim Bleicher wrote a letter to the police describing the attack, which is documented by a security camera video, and demanding that they detain the attackers: "My client, a Jewish resident of Elad, was staying with his wife and children at a hotel. He went to his car to bring his suitcase to the hotel. Suddenly, without any cause, two Arabs who saw my client, who wears traditional Jewish clothing, attacked and humiliated him. When they passed him, one of them shoved him with his shoulder, and the other hit him hard on the head. He collapsed to the ground. The attackers laughed and called out an indistinct slur of which he understood only the words 'al yahud' [the Jew]. The attackers continued on their way to Jaffa Street while my client got up and sat down to recover and then continue on his way.

"As a result of the attack, my client suffered from dizziness and headaches for several days. My client filed a complaint at the Rosh HaAyin Police Station [close to his place of residence], which was transferred to your station [in Jerusalem]. My client has a video clip documenting the incident that was recorded by a camera on a nearby building, and it was transferred to the police with his complaint. This was a shocking incident of a Jew humiliated and beaten in the center of Jerusalem purely due to ugly antisemitic motives. Because of the great importance of the war on terror, I request that you treat this attack appropriately, with a concerted effort to gather intelligence, investigate the incident, and locate the attackers."
