Sun. Jan. 16 Today’s sentencing was for two youths who had been arrested for attacking Arabs near Ramat Migron two and a half years ago. It happened when Arabs were picking olives next to Ramat Migron. The Arabs attacked, held one of the Jewish boys with a knife at his throat and threw a rock at his head. His friends tried to rescue him. A battle ensued and the army and border police came. The soldiers refused to inspect the Arabs for weapons and arrested the Jewish boys. One was sentenced with jail-time, and the second who is now a front-line soldier was sentenced to community service.
