Residents detained at Binyamin outposts
Tuesday, September 20, 2022, 19:09 Dozens of border policemen raided Binyamin region outposts Ramat Migron and Oz Tzion on the afternoon of Tuesday, September 20. They presented demarcation orders signed by the GOC of the Central Command, Major-General Yehuda Fuchs, to the families and ordered them to evacuate their homes within minutes.
Approximately six residents who objected to the evacuation and refused to leave their homes were detained and taken to the Sha'ar Binyamin Police Station. Residents reported police brutality at the outposts. Honenu Attorney Nati Rom assisted the detainees at the police station.
Residents of Oz Tzion and Ramat Migron issued a statement: "[Defense Minister] Benny Gantz sent security forces to destroy Jewish communities that physically prevent the town of Burka from taking over areas of the Binyamin region. The [Burka] town council has been working for many months in coordination with the Palestinian Authority to destroy these communities. Benny Gantz is serving as the executive contractor for Abu Mazen and the PA to establish an Arab terror state."
