Bat Yam Protester Held by Police

Tuesday, January 18, 2011 Approximately 50 people marched in Bat Yam this evening to protest Arab harassment and intimidation of Jewish girls. At the beginning of the march, Yassam policemen took A., one of the organizers and activists, into custody claiming that he was needed by the police for an investigation of an old case concerning his entrance to the destroyed town of Homesh. After the demonstrators protested that the police were detaining him, the police allowed him to continue and took him only at the end.
